BASIC QUINOA FLAKE PORRIDGE
(1 serving)
50g quinoa flakes
200ml non-diary milk ( or diary if you want – your choice)
1 small banana *optional (as a sweetener)
Put the ingredients in a small saucepan , turn the heat up and wait until it starts boiling. When it begins to boil lower the heat to the lowest setting and let it cook for 1-2 minutes. Stir from time to time.
Cut the banana to small pieces and mash well. Add to the mixture in the saucepan and stir well. In about 2-3 minutes should be ready. If it is too thick , you could add more milk or water. When its ready , pour into a bowl and add your toppings.
If you wanna make it chocolate one just add 1 tbsp raw cocoa powder or 1tbsp carob powder for a carob porridge. For vanilla one just add some vanilla. Easy peasy and super yummy !
